Just drop the book, and take two steps back!

Please, don't buy this book. This is supposed to be an exam prep guide for a math class, but there is not even one problem solved in the book. It is all fill in the blank statements, and even though there is an answer key in the back, every correct answer is marked throughout the book. And, the three incorrect answer choices for every single question, are Undefined, Thing, or Thing. I have my first Abstract Algebra test coming up, and we will have 11 problems, 3 proofs, and I think, 8 True/False. No problems in the exam prep, nor proofs, nor true/false questions. This is a total rip-off. The publishers should be ashamed of themselves.

Vile ripoff rubbish - I feel violated and disgusted.

DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK OR ANYTHING ELSE FROM THIS PUBLISHER! This "exam prep" book (and presumably others in the series) is a scam designed to suck money out of unsuspecting customers. It has no useful content whatsoever. The vast majority of the so-called exam questions have no relevance to the chapter they are meant to refer to, but are rather generic statements about Maths, Statistics or Computer Science. There is precious little that pertains in any way to Abstract Algebra, and that which does is completely facile. The questions are all multiple choice and for the most part require the completion of generic, plain English sentence, mostly having no particular relevance to abstract algebra in general, let alone the contents of the particular chapter. This is of no relevance to what one would get in an exam on this rather advanced topic. What is more, there is generally only one non-void answer of the four given, with the correct answer marked with an "0". These people should be put in jail - this is utter fraud! It looks as though they were on some kind of drug when they devised this scheme. Amazon really needs to work on their quality control here. This study guide comes up when one searches for "fraleigh abstract algebra" in Amazon's search engine and takes on the appearance of being a useful companion to the text to which is supposedly refers. I shall be taking this up with Amazon and I will also contact Addison-Wesley to inform them of these parasites to what is a great publishing house in technical areas. Amazon should also worry about the reputational damage that comes from being involved with this.
